ORGANIZATION FOR PROCUREMENT

Tohoku EPCO procures materials and equipment efficiently enough its procurement organization. Materials and equipment to be procured by Tohoku EPCO are handled by the following procurement organization. To maximize efficiency, authority for procurement is delegated to local levels, such as the head office, local offices, and power stations, which all utilize a common procurement policy. Located in the Materials Department within Tohoku EPCO's headquarters is the Planning & International procurement Group which deals with foreign products.
