Scope and Editing Policy of the "Environmental Action Report 2006"

The "Environmental Action Report 2006" is made as a Web version that mainly features the status of environmental activities and efforts of Tohoku EPCo Company Group in FY2005, including the detailed data that were not mentioned in the CSR Report (issued on August 7, 2006).

For this report, we referred to the Sustainable Report Guide issued by the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) and the Environmental Report Guideline (the fiscal 2003 edition) issued by the Ministry of the Environment

  Some items and information already covered in previous reports are included in this report owing to their relevance or importance.
• Companies covered: Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. and its Tohoku EPCo's Group Companies
