Since its foundation, Tohoku Electric Power has been performing various activities while upholding its philosophy of "the Company cannot grow without the prosperity of Tohoku region". By publishing CSR reports since FY 2005, we have been collectively reporting the details of our Company’s CSR philosophy and activities.
In the 5th issue for FY 2009, "Close-Up" at the beginning of this report introduces you to those subjects which are important to the activities of our Company and which our stakeholders would be highly interested in as a matter of the most essential information to be disclosed for the sake of closer two-way communication. We also include the opinions and evaluations on our Company by the customers in local communities as well as the responses to them by our Company. We hope to be able to reflect the perspective of the stakeholders more than before into our evaluation of our own activities.
