We apologize that the CO2 Emissions (actual results of FY 2009) were incorrect.
It was confirmed that part of the light oil used in FY 2009 at Shin-Sendai Thermal Power Station of the company was not included due to the failure of the flow meter that measured the amount of light oil used at that station. We recalculated the CO2 Emissions based on the correct amount of oil used and corrected the CO2 Emissions as follows. By the way, the customers’ CO2 emission basic unit (kg-CO2/kWh) needs no correction.

In line with the above correction, the figures of the corresponding CO2 Emissions in “Tohoku Electric Power NOW CSR Report 2010” are changed as follows.
The currently released “Tohoku Electric Power NOW CSR Report 2010” reflects the corrections.
